Rose Bogard

Rose Bogard, age 79, of Odessa, TX, our beloved sister and aunt, went home on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 to be with her heavenly Father.

Visitation will be for 6:00-8:00 pm, Friday, November 4, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jackie Brem officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Rose was born on November 26, 1936 to Eugene William Bogard and Calle Marie (Phillips) Bogard in Wills Point, TX.

Rose worked for the Police Department as a secretary and retired after 36 years. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and also the Colonial Daughters of the 17th Century. She was a wonderful friend, sister and aunt. She loved her hummingbirds. Rose was a member of Second Baptist Church here in Odessa.

Rose is survived by her daughter, Thayla Tucker; sisters, Jane McBride, Elizabeth and her husband Eddie Harkness; nephews, Justin Harkness, Brayden Patton, Adam Lindsey and niece, Amber Harkness.
