Roy Hudspeth, 73 went home to be with his Lord on Saturday April 10, 2010 in Odessa, TX. He was born on November 30, 1936 in Wichita Falls, TX. Roy was a longtime oilfield worker and truly loved what he did. He served his country in the United States Navy. Roy loved being outdoors, but he especially loved the beach. He was also a lover of all animals. Above all else he loved his family and cherished every working minute that he spent with them. He was a devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother and uncle. He had a great big heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by everyone.
Roy is survived by the three loves of his life, his daughters: Terry Haltom, Nikki Donkin and husband Ian, Susan Couch and husband Curtis. Sister Linda Ramos and husband Ruben of Clyde, TX nieces and nephews: James, Ronda, Genesse, Tamarin and RJ. Grandkids: Mikey and April Nichols, Royce and Jennifer Haltom, Rory Couch, Lori Haltom, Jerod Couch and Gena Terry great grandkids: Gunner Couch, Tyler and Dylan Haltom, Aubrey and Zoey Nichols.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 13, 2010 10 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel and Graveside Service will take place in Winters, TX at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be on Monday, April 12, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Jimmy Braswell will be officiating.
