Ruby Tuggle

Ruby Nell Tuggle, age 97, of Odessa, TX, passed away on October, 22, 2015 in Odessa.

Ruby was born July 23, 1918 to E. W. Thames and Lucy Luce Thames in Cisco, TX. Her childhood was spent in Breckenridge until the family moved to Odessa. She married Dan Tuggle in 1940 and was a homemaker until her youngest child started school when she went to work for the Antler's Hotel. The family moved to Slaton in 1966 until her mother fell ill and she returned to Odessa to care for her in 1978. Ruby was a member of Crossroads Fellowship. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, E.W. and Lucy Luce Thames, son, Larry Tuggle, daughter, Shirley Tuggle, six brothers and 2 sisters.

Ruby is survived by her sons, Charles Tuggle of Corpus Christi, TX and James Tuggle of Austin, TX, daughters, Sharon Hembree of Odessa and Glenda Lamb of Lubbock, TX, 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm, Monday, October 26, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Al Workman, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
