Rudolfo Alvarez

Rudolfo Hernandez Alvarez, 65, of Odessa passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018 in Odessa.
Family will have a visitation on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm with a Rosary reading at 7:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Chapel.
Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Rudolfo H. Alvarez was born and raised in Pecos, TX. to Enrique Alvarez and Manuela Hernandez. After graduating from Pecos High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. Rudolfo married Rosa Anaya on August 3, 1982 in Odessa, TX. Following his military service, Rudolfo settled in Odessa, TX and pursued a career in mental health.
Rudolfo is survived by his wife, Rosa; two children Roman Alvarez and his wife Myra and Rosemary Valadez and her husband Anthony and three grandchildren, Anthony James, Jason and Cruz; siblings Beto Alvarez, Henry Alvarez, Magdalena Valencia, Eloisa Cortez, Fay Moran and Pat Ornelas.
Pallbearers will be Robert Alvarez, Eric Valencia, Richard Ornelas, Timothy Moran, Roger Cortez, Joe Morales, Sonny Anaya, and Mark Alvarez.
