Russell Shaw

Russell Brandon Shaw, age 47, of Texas, passed away on April 7, 2018 in Odessa.

Memorial Services will be at 2:00 pm, Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Cremation has taken place.

Russell was born December 5, 1970 to Buddy and Sheila Shaw in Lubbock, TX. He attended school in Farmington, NM. Russell worked as a welder and a supervisor for various companies for close to 30 years. The most recent was Crossfire U.C.

Russell loved motorcycles and helping guys get their first set of welding test papers. He was a Texas Tech and Green Bay Packer fan through and through. Traveling were experiences he enjoyed more than words can say. His favorite spot was Roatan, Honduras.

Russell is survived by his girlfriend, Amy Headley Herring; son, Tyler Shaw; daughter, Savannah Shaw (Jared); parents, Buddy and Sheila Shaw; brother, Ryan Shaw (Shannon); sister, Deanna Nichols (Brian); grandchildren, Makayla, Maddisyn and Jaxon; nieces and nephews, Isaiah, Roman, Austin, Chipper, Ian, Mercedeez, Cheyenne, Catelyn; mother of Tyler and Savannah, Kristal Crawford Shaw and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Russell will be dearly missed by family, friends, co-workers and probably every person who had a chance to meet him.
