Ruth L. Manus passed away December 20, 2010 in her home at Parks Methodist Retirement Village. She was born in Clayton New Mexico on August 17, 1926
to Robert E. Hamblen and Ruth Hamblen.
She attended high school and business college in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She later married William A. Manus in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Ruth was an owner of Ladies Boutique in Albuquerque, New Mexico for many years. She was past president of Resident Council at Parks Methodist.
She was active in James Department at First Baptist Church, Midland,
Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruth Hamblen,
Sister, Elaine Hughes, and brother, Robert E. Hamblen.
Ruth was loved by all, for her jolly personality and her love of life.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from
6:008:00 P.M. at Sunset Funeral Home.
Graveside services will he held on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 2:00 P.M.
at Resthaven Memorial Cemetery with Rev. David Johnson and Rev. Bob Bratcher.
She is survived by her two sons and a daughter, William A. Manus II., of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Stephen Manus, Folson California, Becky Green of Camas, Washington her sister, Georgia Reeves of Odessa, Texas, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a special friend Bob Boswell.
