Sandra Davis

Sandra Reid Davis, age 56, of Odessa, Texas, passed away at her home in Odessa on June 25th, 2014 after a long battle with breast cancer.

Visitation and a memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, June 29th, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, Odessa with the Reverend James Braswell officiating. Cremation and arrangements are provided by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Sandra was born in Wichita Falls, Texas to Larry A. Reid and Malacha Pruett Reid on December 17, 1957. The family moved to Odessa when Sandra was a year old. She attended San Jacinto Elementary and Bowie Junior High, then Odessa High School, graduating in 1976.

She moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1981 and worked as the administrator of the Grace and Franklin Bernsen Foundation until 2007. At that time she returned to her hometown of Odessa, Texas and married her high school sweetheart, Bobby Davis on July 7th, 2007. Sandra began working at Saulsbury Industries and worked there until early 2014.
During her life, Sandra was very involved in the Child Abuse Network of Tulsa, Habitat for Humanity, and numerous charitable organizations. She had many friends and was involved in many ladies groups.

Sandra is survived by her husband Bobby Davis, her daughter Adreanne Griffin of Albuquerque, NM, her sister Linda Tilson Marty of Pagosa Springs, CO, and her granddaughter Lila OBrien of Albuquerque. Additionally, she is survived by two nieces, Wendy Eddy Bradley and Sandra Crain, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma and a great niece BreAnnah Eddy and a great nephew Logan Eddy, both of Tulsa.

She is preceded in death by both her mother and father.
