Sandra Ray

Sandra McAdams McCubbin Ray, age 63, of Odessa, went to be with the lord on July 8, 2014 at Medical Center Hospital surrounded by many loved ones.

She was born on January 16, 1951 in Ballinger, Tx. to Harvey Jack Bert McAdams and Fannie Long McAdams. She had one brother Larry Bert McAdams. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1969. Sandra was the first student in the ECISD that attended kindergarten and all twelve years without missing a day or being tardy. She graduated from Odessa College in 1972. Sandra has been owneroperator of several restaurants through the Texas Commission for the Blind since 1989. She lived in El Paso, Tx. from 19892007. Her favorite pass time was just being Nanny and spending time with her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her father, Harvey Jack Bert McAdams, her mother Fannie Long McAdams and her brother Larry Bert McAdams.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy Lee McCubbin of Odessa, daughter, Jackie Larrysa Erwin and husband Mark Erwin, three grandchildren, William Erwin, Hayden Erwin and Courtney Erwin, all of Odessa, and many Aunts, Uncles and other family and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 11, 2014 from 68 PM at Sunset Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 4:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Johnny Thomason officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
