Sara Panter

Sara Rosenzweig Panter, 67 of Odessa, died February 1, 2018 in a local hospital. Sara was born to Don and Lucille Rosenzweig on August 28, 1950 in Dallas, Texas.

She is survived by her sons, D. T. (Daniel) Panter and his fiancé Cindy; Sam Panter and wife Ericka and her grandson Luke; her sister by choice Katy Waldrep; and sister Jai Burns. Sara leaves behind her furry friends and a host of personal friends and all the veterans she served.

Sara worked as a social worker for the VA system for 36 years with a passion and commitment to the veterans.

Per her wishes a celebration of life will be held February 24, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the VFW Community Center, 301 E. 61st Street, in Odessa.

Memorials are asked to be directed to the DAV or any veteran's organization of your choice.
