Scott Griffin

Scott Wesley Griffin, 63, of Odessa TX, passed away on November 12, 2021 in Odessa.

Visitation and Viewing will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Renee Phillips, officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Scott was born in Odessa, TX to Doyle and Marion Griffin on January 26, 1958. He went to school at Odessa High School. Scott married Shelly Jo Peasley on March 22, 1987 in Odessa, Tx. He worked as a pipeliner in the Oil field industry. Scott enjoyed spending time with his family, taking his wife, Shelly to Barrel Races, hunting and fishing.

Scott is preceded in death by his Parents, Doyle and Marion, his sister Carol Benton, niece Kim Benton and Brothers-in-law Richard Whalen and Ink Peasley.

Scott is survived by his wife Shelly Griffin, children Zachary and Kayla Griffin, and Brynn Leverett and husband Rich, and four Grandchildren Alexus Miles and husband Austin, Gracie, Cruz, and Blake Leverett. Sister Connie Nicoles and husband Paul, Brother-in-law Glenn Benton, and Sisters-in-law Tara Flynn and husband Mark, and Tiffany Whittier and husband David.

Pallbearers will be Zachary Griffin, Jordan Orasco, Rich Leverett, David Clark, Tom Polston, Joey Witt, Wade Fisher, Jack McCombs, and Joe Alvarado.
