Sharyn Smith

Sharyn Alice Passmore Smith, 66, of Odessa TX passed away on May, 6th 2013 in Odessa Tx.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30a.m May 9th, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Milton Hunt, William Ritter, Ivan Subia, Chuck Isner, Gregg Wilson and Glenn Bowhay.

Sharyn was born in Lubbock Tx. to J.B. Nellie Passmore on January 29, 1947. She graduated from Jefferson High School in San Antonio Tx and was a graduate of Abilene Christian College in Abilene Tx. She was a TeacherLibrarian for 28 years and faithfully involved in the local sorority, Beta Sigma Phi.

Sharyn is preceded in death by Father J.B. Mother Nellie Passmore and sister, Kathy Passmore Brown.

She is survived by Spouse Mike Tracy, daughter Celeste Robertson, grandchildren Katy Ulate, Rilee and Garret Rasmussen, Jillyan Moreno and Caylin Campos step children, Richard Tracy, Teresa and CC Campos, her faithful companion Scout, and many aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Sharyn was an extremely loyal friend to everyone that knew her and was truly loved by all. She was easily recognized by her sparkling personality and never went anywhere without leaving with a few new friends.

In lieu of flowers, any donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
