Sherri Dawn Tindol, 40, of Odessa, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011 in Andrews, Texas
She was born August 19, 1970 in Amarillo, Texas to Ron Hays and Jackie Cross Hays. She grew up in Lubbock, Texas and was a graduate of Coronado High School. She spent many years working in the restaurant business, but her skills and knowledge so far exceeded the norm, and so she became a Sales Associate for Sysco Foods.
She was happily married to her loving husband Gordon Tindol of Odessa, Texas for eighteen years.
She is survived by her husband her three children, April Tindol of Sour Lake, Texas, Brant Tindol of 29 Palms, California and Teysha Tindol of Odessa, Texas her parents Ron and Jackie Hays of Lubbock, Texas her siblings, Ron Turner of Ft. Worth, Texas, Cara Marek of Whiteface, Texas and Blake Turner of Lubbock, Texas her motherinlaw, Betty Tindol of Odessa, Texas and her brothersinlaw, Thomas Tindol and James Tindol of Odessa, Texas. She was a proud and loving mother and grandmother to four grandchildrenSonny, Harlow, Korbin and Sebastian.
She was a woman of true strength and courage, full of beauty and laughter. She was pure gold, a rare gem that only her husband could find. Her character was her most defining quality. It is the reason she was loved by anyone she encountered. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends that she held so dearly to her heart, and a piece of her will be in their hearts forever.
Visitation with the family will be 5:307:30 PM Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, with Tommy Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
