Sherry Coskrey

Sherry Lee Coskrey, 58, of Odessa, passed away August 28, 2017 in Odessa.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, September 22, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

A Memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Crossroads Fellowship.

Sherry was born in Odessa, TX to Bill and Betty Perkins on December 27, 1958. She graduated in the top 10 from Odessa High School in 1977. She had 2 children, Ross and Krista Coskrey. She worked for 30+ years in the oilfield at various places. Some of the things she enjoyed doing were baking cakes for friends and family. She never met a stranger. She also taught Sunday school for a few years. She loved spending her time with her precious granddaughter, Aubre.

She was loved by friends and family and will be missed dearly. Those left to cherish her love and memories are her children, Ross Coskrey and his wife Janet of Phoenix, AZ and Krista Coskrey her husband, Joe Duke; granddaughter, Aubre Coskrey of Odessa, TX; father of her children, Rick Coskrey; mother, Betty Perkins; brother, Dennis Perkins and his 2 children of Fort Worth, TX; sister, Becky Peeples of Odessa, TX; brother, Billy Perkins and his wife, Tana and their 4 children of Midland, TX; brother, Darren Perkins and his wife, Deanna and their 2 children of Oregon.

Sherry is preceded in death by her father, Bill Perkins and sister-in-law, Rhonda Perkins.

The family of Sherry requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her honor to St. John's Episcopal Church, School Office Library Memorial Fund, 401 W. County Rd., Odessa, TX 79763, 432-333-6022.
