Stella Cunningham

Stella Cunningham, affectionately known as Granny, 83, of Odessa, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2013.

Stella married Tommy Cunningham on June 2nd, 1950, in Houston, TX., and they enjoyed over 50 years of marriage. She loved playing bridge with the girls, spending time with her grandchildren and watching Gone With The Wind. And rightly so for her now, tomorrow is another day.

Stella is preceded in death by her husband, and also by her son, Michael Cunningham. She is survived by her son and daughterinlaw Pat and Laura Cunningham and daughter Dianne Postelle of Odessa grandsons, Nick Cunningham of Washington, DC, Max Cunningham of Houston, Hunter Cunningham and TJ Holman of Odessa granddaughter Alison Postelle and greatgranddaughter Allyah Havner, of Odessa. She is also survived by her special adopted family, Stanley and Sheila Prather, Tony, Nicole and Zachary Prather all of Odessa, and Michael, Deadra, Darrianne and Joelle Dorris of Brownfield.

Pallbearers will be Nick Cunningham, Max Cunningham, Hunter Cunningham, TJ Holman, Tony Prather, Stanley Prather and Bryan Duncan.

Family visitation will be from 6 to 7 PM Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Friday, May 3, 2013 in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Father Prem Thumma of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
