Stephen Thompson

Stephen W. Thompson, 65, of Odessa, Texas passed away on January 30, 2015 in Odessa.

Graveside Services will be Wednesday, February 4th at 1:00pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Gary Vest of First Baptist Church, officiating.

Steve was born in Odessa to A.W."Buster" Thompson and Mozelle "Hootie" Thompson Postelle on April 2, 1949. He graduated from Permian High School and Sul Ross University. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and had an avid interest in the CAF at Midland Air Terminal. Steve enjoyed reading and collecting items about space exploration. He also enjoyed the history of WWII and the Army Air Force. Steve devoted many years helping and caring for his mother.

Steve is preceded in death by his father and mother and many aunts and uncles.

Steve is survived by his sister, Peggy Thompson Gaitan of New Braunfels and his nephew, John Gaitan, now servicing in the US Army.
