Steven Dees

Steven Dees, age 53, of Odessa, passed away on December 15, 2018 in Odessa TX.

Steve was born in Odessa TX on May 9, 1965 to Edith EllaRay Blackmon and Samuel Dees. Steve married the love of his life, Tammy on July 30, 1985 in Odessa TX. He worked in the oilfield for over 30 years and for the last 7 years owned and operated his own Consulting business. Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at his lake house. He is a beloved husband, father, papa, and brother. He has touched the lives of many people over the years with his involvement in girls' softball, and his knowledge and willingness to teach those around him.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Samual Dees and Edith EllaRay Dees.

Steve in survived by his beloved wife, Tammy Dees; his kids, Shanna and Mickey Moore, Kendra and Melissa Looney, Kristin and Randall Medina, and Ethan Dees, all of Odessa; sister, Sylvia and James Schlauch also of Odessa; his 3 precious grandchildren, Michelle, Madison, and Alexander and many other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, December 21, 2018 at Odessa First Church of the Nazarene, 2223 Lyndale Dr., Odessa TX, 79762.
