Teresa Kiser

Teresa Kiser, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022, after a short illness.

Teresa was born to Aaron and Minnie Tredaway on September 14, 1951, in Midland, TX. She went to school and graduated high school in Midland, TX. Teresa attended Odessa College where in 1971 she was elected sweetheart of the Martin County Sheriff’s Pose.  She met David Kiser at Odessa College. Teresa and David Kiser were married August 7, 1971.  They would go on to have four daughters.  After living in several places in Texas, they would end up settling in Andrews, TX, by 1983. Teresa was active in Girl Scouts and 4H with her daughters.

Teres worked at Medical Center Hospital before she moved to Gallup, NM, in 1998. She worked as a Supervising Administrator at an assisted living facility for 20 years in Gallup, NM, before retiring.

Teresa is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Ruby Pringle, Bonnie Mitchell, Dora Winkler, brothers; Marion “Mook” Tredaway, A.C. Tredaway Jr, and Jerry Don Tredaway.

Teresa Kiser is survived by her four daughters, Kerri Griffin of Odessa, Texas, Connie Gentry of Odessa, Texas, Kelly and Steven Price of Fort Worth, Texas, and Candi Kiser of Odessa, Texas. Siblings, Frances Bush of Odessa, Texas, Claudine Jones of Midland, Texas, Reggie and Sondra Tredaway of Rhome; grandchildren, Dylan and Alyssa Cook of Odessa, Amber and Marcus Turner of Odessa, Austin Turner of Andrews, Kayla Kiser of Hobart, OK, Alexis and Zack Vannicola of Marshall, Emmett Price of Fort Worth; great-grandchildren, Derek Kiser of Odessa, Kohta Turner of Odessa, Sara and Shawna Simpson of Hobart, OK, Alexander Palmer of Odessa and Penelope Turner of Odessa.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 6, 2022, from 6 PM-8 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
