Teresa Woods

Teresa Kay Woods, 58, of Odessa, Texas passed away on March 6, 2020.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Monday, March 9, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home. Don Caywood of Odessa Christian Faith Center will officiate.

Teresa was born in Midland, Texas to Edward Maurice and Mary Louise Schriver on June 19, 1961. After the death of her mother, Teresa was raised by her father and stepmother, Nora Schriver. She married Steven Wesley Woods on June 20, 1980 in Odessa, TX. Teresa was a dedicated wife, mother and Nana. She enjoyed food and was a great cook. She loved spending time with her two daughters, eight grandchildren and many dogs. She loved and adored Steve during their 39 years of marriage.

She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Louise Schriver, her father Edward Schriver, her stepmother Nora Schriver, her half-brother James Ray Schriver, her stepbrother Jimmy Lee Carter and her father-in-law, Claude Woods.

Teresa is survived by her husband Steven Wesley Woods, her daughters Jessica Lynn Hodnett and Amber Nicole French, her sons-in-law Jared Hodnett and Jason French, her grandchildren Alexia Woods, Jaden Woods, Trenton Woods, Harlee Woods, Gavin Sydow, Tristan Woods, Cameron Woods and Lyric French. Her brother Reese Schriver, stepbrother Harold Carter and sister Brenda Sydnor also survive her.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the many family and friends that showed their love and support of Teresa. We also wish to thank the staff at Madison Medical Resort for their loving care.
