Terri Dene Powell Banzet passed at her Odessa home on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015 after a nearly two - year battle with two different forms of leukemia.
In her youth, Terri was an accomplished athlete. A basketball player at Odessa High in the late 1970's, she achieved her greatest success on the softball fields. As a shortstop and perennial Odessa All-Star, she was once named Miss Texas in the Miss Softball America Program, a fast-pitch league for teens.
Later in life she was an avid horsewoman and took great joy in riding.

She also leaves behind four grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart; Cade Foster, Caylee Foster, Kinzley Foster and Jaxon Banzet.
