Terry Pirtle

Our Lord called Terry Lynn Pirtle home August 12, 2018.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lyndel Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Terry was born in Burnet, TX on July 19, 1952 to Eugene and Veona Pirtle. He married Patsy Danford on September 4, 1976 in San Angelo, TX. They had 41 wonderful years together.

Terry graduated in 1975 from Angelo State University in San Angelo, TX. He went to work for Oilwell Division of US Steel in 1976 after graduation and worked until 2003 where he began his current career with McCarty Equipment.

Terry was a man of integrity who loved the Lord and his family. He loved the simple things of life. He was an avid hunter and one of his most memorable hunts was elk hunting in New Mexico with his son Tanner and brother-in-law Edde.

Terry was baptized at the age of twelve and attended Tanglewood Baptist Church.

Terry is survived by his wife Patsy, son Tanner and Kim; grandsons Ryder Lane Pirtle and Parker McClinton; mother Veona Pirtle; beloved sister Katherine Holloway all of Odessa; brother Mike Pirtle and wife Trish of Corpus Christi; special sister-in-law Kaye Elliott and brother-in-law Edde Elliott of San Angelo and multiple nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Terry was preceded in death by his infant son Patrick D. Pirtle; father Eugene Pirtle and special brother-in-law Gary Holloway.

Terry fought a courageous battle with cancer and will be truly missed by all that knew and loved him.
