alignleftTheodore E. Ted Moore, Odessa, loving father, husband, brother, son, entered the Holy Kingdom of God on February 7th, 2009.
alignleftTed was born June 23, 1960 in Tawas City, Michigan to Nellie June and Robert E. Moore. Robert was in the U.S. Air Force. In 1961, the family moved to Japan where they spent four years, they then transferred to Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, and then moved to Odessa, Texas in 1972.
Ted attended Bonham Jr. High, and graduated from Permian High School in 1978.
He worked for the Fields Group as a construction superintendent. He later went into business for himself remodeling homes and businesses. He then started to work at the Permian Mall in 1991, which is now Music City Mall, as the Operations Manager, which oversees the Parent Company I.C.A. construction and renovations of all properties.
Teds hobbies were guns, hunting, fishing, fast cars and football.
He married Dena Herndon in 1984, they had one son, Rainer Seth Moore, and they
orced in 1992. He then married Debbie Johnson in 2002. He was her very best friend and her rock.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Moore and brother, Mark Moore.
Ted is survived by his wife, Debbie Moore, son, Rainer Seth Moore, step-children, Brittney Johnson and Cody Johnson, father, Robert Bob Moore, step-mother, Maria Moore, sister, Maria Jose Moore Lopez, brother, Arthur J. Moore, sister-in-law, Claudia Moore, niece Taunell Moore, and nephew Benjamin Moore.
There will be a family and friend visitation at Sunset Funeral Home Wednesday, February 11, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Saint Andrew Cumberland Presbyterian Church 1415 N. Grandview Ave. with Jimmy Braswell officiating.
Pallbearers will be Benjamin Moore, Mike Herron, Chris Seabourn, Terry Richie, Robert Alley, and Roy Allen. Honorary pallbearers are John Bushman and Ed Lasater.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
