Theresa Crook

Theresa Geneva Crook, 94, a long term resident of Odessa passed away December 11, 2016 in Odessa.

She was born July 9, 1922 in Casa, Arkansas to Earnest & Ruth (Harris) Wilkins. Geneva was a member of Northside Baptist Church, where she served as Secretary in her Mary Martha Sunday School class. She was a retired ECISD Special Education school bus driver, member of Texas State Teachers Association & member of National Education Association. She enjoyed sewing & gardening. She loved her family and was a very devoted Mother and Grandmother. Her children were the love of her life.

Theresa is preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, A.W. Northcott and husband, William Dennis Crook and daughter, Teresa Parks.

She is survived by sons, J.L. Northcott, A.R. Northcott and wife, Donna, both of Odessa, a daughter, Rhonda Cupp and husband, Bill Cupp of Ruidoso, NM, sister, Billye Watts of Oklahoma City, OK, sister, Connie Conley of Florence, AL and sister, Elizabeth Bryant of Springfield, MO, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation for friends & family will be Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 pm, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 10:00 am at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clydel Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
