Thomas Dudney

Lynn Dudney age 75 was born November 18, 1934 and passed away October 29, 2010 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, TX. He was born in Pampa, TX but lived most of his life in Odessa, TX. He was a graduate of Texas Tech University and worked thirtyfive years for Ector County Independent School District. He served as President of the West Odessa Water Supply trying to get water for the West Odessa area. After retirement, he moved to Robert Lee, TX. He was a member of the Robert Lee Baptist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge at Seminole, TX.

He is survived by his wife Emma Dudney, his children Cheri Kost of Dixon, MO, Rhonda Finch of St. James, MO, Tracie Crudgington of New Braunfels, TX, and Randy Crudgington of Canton, TX two brothers Alva Claude Dudney of Robert Lee, TX and Wayne Dudney of Mason, TX. Lynn had thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lynn was preceded in death by his twin brother Alex Glenn Dudney, his parents A.C. Dudney and Lou Venie Dudney and two infant children Mary Jane Dudney and Billy Joe Dudney.

Visitation with the family will be 3:005:00 pm Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 1, 2010 at Robert Lee Baptist Church, in Robert Lee, Texas with Pastor Danny White officiating. Graveside services will be held at 4:30 PM Monday, November 1, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
