Thomas Wilson

Thomas Joseph Tommy Wilson, passed away peacefully and with dignity on Thursday, March 24, 2011 in Odessa, Texas, at age 86. He lived a full life, filled with love of family and friends.

Tommy was born on December 12, 1924 in Ball Ground, Georgia. He served in the U.S. Marines from November 1942 until 1945. He also served in the Air Force from 1946 until 1953.

Tommy was a 32 degree Mason and received his 25 year Masonic pin in 1995. He was a charter member of the Amran Shrine Temple in Raleigh, North Carolina and was a member of the Scottish Rite and a Shriner.

Survivors include his wife, Martha daughters, Bonita Bischoff and husband Greg, Jeanne Honeycutt and Belinda Perkins of Raleigh, N. C. stepdaughters, Teresa Vonk and husband John of Prescott, Arizona and Dale Lynn Reichart of Greenville, N.C. and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:0012:00 Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 PM Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Byron McWilliams officiating. Masonic rites will also be given.
