Timothy Gray

June 22, 1968 — September 2, 2013

Timothy Dale Gray, 45, gained his ultimate healing on Monday, September 2, 2013. His wife, children, family and friends were gathered at his side when his earthly body decided it had given all it had and needed to be walking healed and whole beside the one he adored most and above all: Jesus Christ.

Tim was not a man of many words, but when he spoke, he spoke with honesty, respect, wisdom and integrity.

Tim walked the walk of a beautiful Christian, full of the Holy Ghost and loved to talk about Jesus. The word of God was his favorite thing, to read it, sing it, pray it and live it. His wife Mauretta was his angel and the love of his life. He loved, cherished and honored her. He bragged on her to many They were married August 18, 1990 in Odessa, Texas. Together they have three beautiful daughters, Kaitlyn, Kristyn and Karley. His love for his girls was incredible and they were his world And what a Godly leader he was to them He taught them that nothing in this life was more important than Jesus Christ and he proudly raised them in the truth of the Word.

Tim was born to Nathan and Elaine Gray in Odessa, Texas on June 22, 1968. He went to Dowling Elementary, Bonham Junior High and graduated from Permian High School in 1986 where he was involved in ROTC and was a marksman. He was also an award winning violinist in the Permian High School orchestra.

Throughout most of his married years Tim served in local churches as a church drummer, sound engineer, youth leader and Praise and Worship Leader. Tim had many passions in life, one being his family, another being music, song writing and drums but one of his favorites was cooking. He loved to spend time creating his very own recipes and he even catered a few events to show them off. He loved weekend cookouts with the family. Many knew Tim for his awesome cooking.

Tim was employed by Oxidental Permian as a field tech. He also spent time as a field tech for Cox Services. Prior to that he spent many years as a tooling specialist in sales at Metal Removal Specialties and MM Sales.

Tim was preceded in death by his MeeMaw and Dad Dad Johnston and his Granddad and Grandmother Gray.
