Timothy Bryce Laub, 69, passed peacefully on Thursday, June 1, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Tim was born March 10, 1954, to Bernard and Margot Laub in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
He graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1972. After high school Tim pursued an education as an electrician. Once his education there was finished, he went on to teach at the school.
Tim married Landra Gilliam on March 20th, 2004, in Odessa, TX, where he worked for Foreman Electric for 20 years. Tim had a passion for building and restoring guns and loved to watch John Wayne movies. Though he loved watching John Wayne his favorite western of all was Lonesome Dove.
In 1981 Tim was awarded Apprentice of the Year for his hard work and dedication as an electrician. This award was something he was very proud of.
Tim was a true Fisher of Men. He loved to pour himself into those who were around him and guided them with a mature sense of confidence.
He is preceded in death by his mom, Margot; sister, Sue; and nephew, Ben.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Landra of Odessa, TX; his dad, Bernard; sister, Jan Slorance & Mike; son, Michael & wife Kim Laub; daughters, Erica and Karen Laub, Brandi & husband Curtis Hayes; and daughter, Heather Gilliam; his grandkids, Brittany and Clayton Edwards, Tatum and Hayden Laub, Aubrey, Dawson and Dylan Gilliam, and Hannah Chapman.
The pallbearers will be Kenny Kidd, Rick Yeager, Curtis Gullett, Cory Gullett, David Willingham, and Cecil Linzy.
A visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Sunday, June 11, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, June 12, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Harry Irwin of Sherwood Baptist Church officiating. Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
