Tina Bizzell

Tina Lousie Boyle Bizzell was born on June 25, 1960 in Sistersville, West Virginia to James and Nelma Boyle. She passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, in Odessa, Texas.

Raised in Odessa, Texas since the age of 2, Tina graduated from Permian High School. She married her high school sweetheart Cory Odell Bizzell on May 18, 1979. They recently celebrated 45 years of marriage. They have two children, Crissy Anne Preslar and Clint Odell Bizzell. Tina worked for ECISD for many years as a PE aide at Reagan Elementary where she led the girl’s gymnastics teams to numerous city championships. Tina also worked as an accounts manager at Wellhead, Inc. until she stepped into her most prized role being Grandma to her grandchildren. When her grandchildren reached school age, Tina then returned to ECISD as an attendance clerk for Buice and Noel Elementary Schools until her retirement in May 2023.Tina created and ran a successful children’s clothing line, Duds 4 Divas, out of her home for many years. She designed and sewed outfits for children across the United States. Tina enjoyed competitive shooting in F-Class and Pistol competitions and was a top women’s competitor in the nation. She shot in many competitions as a rifle team member with her husband, son, and son-in-law. 

Tina is preceded in death by her father, James Boyle. She is survived by her husband, Cory of Odessa, Texas; her mother, Nelma Boyle of San Antonio, Texas; sister, Venetia Mitchell and husband Bret of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Crissy Preslar and husband Trinity of Odessa, Texas; son, Clint Bizzell and wife Amanda of Odessa, Texas; grandchildren, Tanner Preslar, London Preslar, Cameron Bizzell, and Kinley Bizzell; and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

A viewing will be held at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Odessa on Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00pm.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 31, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell will be officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Trinity Preslar, Tanner Preslar, Cameron Bizzell, Bret Mitchell, Brenton Echols, Richard “Red” Griggs.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Chae, the staff at the Midland Allison Cancer Center, the staff at MD Anderson, the staff at Medical Center Hospital, and the staff at Home Hospice of Odessa.
