Tommie Mcdole

Tommie Lee McDole, 84 years young, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on November 4th, 2012.

Memorial services will be held at 2 pm, Friday, November 9th at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Odessa, Texas with Robin Horne officiating.

Tommie was born in Slaton, Texas to George and Eula Tudor on March 29, 1928. She went to school in Borger, Texas and later graduated at The University of Texas of the Permian Basin at the age of 62 with a degree in Criminal Justice. She worked as a probation officer for Midland County for over twenty years.

Tommie is preceded in death by her father George Woody Tudor, her mother Eula Cook Easterling, stepfather Si Easterling and one brother George W. Tudor.

Tommie is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia Chavez and husband Roy and Deborah McDole both from Odessa, Texas. Other family members include Angie Wilson. She is survived by her sister Maurine and husband Milton, and their son Randy of Minnesota. Tommie had three wonderful grandchildren, who were the sparkle in her eyes, Christopher Chavez and wife Ashlee, Matthew Chavez, and Chelsea Chavez. Nanas closest and dearest of friends include Francis Cunningham and all of her furry little friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to be given to the Odessa Humane Society, 7012 W. Mockingbird Lane, Odessa, TX 79763, in honor of Tommies passion and love for animals.
