Tommy Fambro

May 24, 1932 — May 16, 2017

On May 16, 2017, Tommy Fambro, a great man left this life on earth at home surrounded by his family. He was born May 24, 1932 in Breckenridge, TX to Tom Fambro and Lois McGowen Fambro. At the age of seven he moved with his family to Goldsmith, TX, where he attended Goldsmith Elementary and accepted Christ as his savior at the First Baptist Church of Goldsmith. After graduation from Odessa High School in 1951, Tommy enlisted in the United States Marines. After his service in the military, Tommy returned to Odessa where he met his future love, best friend and wife, Mary Thomas, at the Speedway Drive-In. Tommy then began a career with Phillips Pipeline as a gauger where he worked for 30 years until he retired.

Since he was not one to sit around, he embarked on a career in real estate investment by purchasing various residential and commercial properties. He invested much of his time and energy to make Cardinal Homes Inc. what it is today. What Tommy loved most in his life were God, his family, his work and the Arizona Cardinals.

Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Lois Fambro.

Those left to treasure his memory and carry on his legacy are his loving wife of 63 wonderful years Mary Fambro, his children, Mike Fambro and his wife Karen, Tammy Fambro and Jeff Fambro, his loving grandchildren, Tiffany Holley and her husband, Toby, Kari Fambro Hallmark and her husband Eric, Kevin Fambro and his great grandson Landon Hallmark.
