Tommy L. Hudson, 82 of Odessa, passed away on Monday evening January 8, 2024, in Odessa Texas. Funeral Service will be held a 3 pm, Saturday January 13, 2024, at the Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, with Jimmy Braswell of St. Andrews Cumberland Presbyterian Church officiating.

Tommy was born in Pampa TX, December 19, 1941, to Willie Byron Hudson and Jesse Lee Taylor. He attended and graduated from Permian High in 1961, then attended college and became a Licensed Journeyman Electrician. He married Norma J. Hawkins July 22, 1962.

Tommy bought M and M in 1967, later changing the name to HBH Construction Company, and also owned Trey Equipment Leasing, and H and H Investments. He was a Deacon at Cresent Park Baptist Church and a Charter member of Mission Dorado Baptist Church.

Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Willie Byron Hudson; mother, Jesse Lee Taylor; his sister, Janet Blount; grandson, Jeremia Raygan Crawford; and great grandson, Jeremiah Crawford.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Norma Hawkins Hudson; son, Brance Hudson and wife Wendy of Stonewall LA; granddaughters, Ashlea, Chelsea, Bralea, Morgan and Lauren; great granddaughters, Jacea, Olivia, Eleanor, Rylan and Presley, Kellin, Kierin, Hannah, Brooklyn, Jace, Drake, Romily and Ryatt; son, Briane Hudson of Odessa; daughter, Brande Brown of Austin TX; and grandson, Treavor Brown; daughter, Brooke Crawford of League City TX; grandson, Joshua Crawford; and great grandsons, Kayden and Kyle.

Memorials may be given in Tommy Hudson’s name to Samaritan’s Purse in lieu of flowers if desired.
