Tommy Smith

Tommy Neil Smith went to be with our Lord on March 31, 2009. He was born to Reba Parker Smith, in Alameda, California on December 21, 1949.

His mother died when he was two years old and he went to live with his aunt and uncle, Carlos and Elsie Muchmore, which became Mom and Dad, and his cousins, Jim and Dennis, who became brothers; and his sister, Beverly, whom he loved very much.

He married Kay on March 25, 1997. They have two daughters, Ashli Nichole Smith and Paige Mickalyn Smith.

Tommy worked at Waggoners Trucking for the last 14 years.

Tommy loved his family and loved going to his daughters sporting events.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Reba, his dad Carlos and his step-son Jason Metz.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Smith; daughters, Ashli and Paige; Stepdaughters, Tracy and Misty Metz and Stepson, Sean and wife Jade; his mother, Elsie Muchmore; sister, Beverly and two brothers, Jim and Dennis. He had 14 grandchildren. He will be missed by everyone.

Visitation with the family will be 4-6 PM Friday, April 3, 2009 in Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Saturday, April 4, 2009 in Sunset Memorial Gardens, with Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements are with Sunset Funeral Home.
