Tracy Blanchard

On September 1, 2013, Tracy Allen Blanchard, age 48 left this earth. He left a big hole in the heart of many.

He was born March 1, 1965 in Odessa, Texas to Richard Coonie and Pansey Blanchard.

He was loved by many family, friends, children, old and young. He was a hard worker he did construction, restaurant work, worked in a prison kitchen and did landscaping. He loved to cook for his family and friends. In his frequent night time walks, he enjoyed the company of the many dogs that followed him.

His health kept him back from a lot of his dreams but he never gave up until September 1, 2013. Tracy had a zest for life. He wanted to please every one by feeding them, listening to them, helping them, whatever made others happy. We will miss Tracy greatly.

He was preceded in death by one brother, James Darrell Blanchard.

Survivors include his parents of Odessa four brothers, Ricky Blanchard, Chris Blanchard and wife Lisa, Pete Blanchard and wife Lisa, and David Blanchard and wife Olivia, all of Odessa. Tracy had five nephews and four nieces he also had three great nephews and three great nieces. He had a lot of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Visitation with the family will be 68 PM Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Cynthia Mobley officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
