Trena Rogers

Trena Lynn Rogers, age 49, went to be with the Lord on January 3, 2015 in Woodville, TX.

Trena was born to Glen and Paula Smith on July 14, 1965 in Odessa, TX. Trena's younger years were spent in Odessa. She attended high school in Big Lake, TX.

Trena will be sadly missed and never forgotten by all that knew her. She had a smile that could light up a room and a laugh that could be heard a mile away. She was one of the most genuine souls anyone could meet. Always willing to give a helping hand along with her heart to follow. Rescuing any stray animal that would allow it and the smart ones could rest assured that they would have the most loving home. She thought her biggest accomplishment was becoming a Gammi to her two grandchildren, Landry and Jordan.
Trena, a Mother, Gammi, Sister, Daughter and Friend touched more lives than she will ever know. Trena's life motto was: "Don't try to understand me, just love me."

Trena is preceded in death by her sister, Tonya, Nenaw, Grandma and Grandpa Smith.

She is survived by her daughters, Kelly Magee and husband Monty, Kari McFall and her father, Kevin McFall; sisters, Tracie O'Steen and husband Terry, Teresa Anthony; brother, Bill Smith; parents, Glen and Paula Smith and her Pepaw Coleman; grandchildren, Landry MaGee and Jordan Matthews.

Pallbearers will be Jim Coleman, Sam Coleman, Kenny O'Steen, Kasey O'Steen, Payne Anthony and Lane Anthony.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Sunset Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 4:00 pm on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Johnny Grissom officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
