Trevor Gilbert

Trevor Kane Gilbert, age 23, of Odessa, TX, passed away on October 17, 2014 in Midland, TX.

Trevor was born on May 20, 1991 to Mitzi and Jim Gilbert in Lubbock, TX. He graduated from Idalou High School in 2010. He was class president and active in sports all his life. Trevor moved to Odessa in 2010. He was moving to Wyoming in December to go to work for the railroad as a conductor. Trevor also completed the Fire Fighter Academy at Midland College in 2011. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 1348 in Lubbock, TX.

Trevor is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jimmy Gilbert, Doris and Loren West, V.O. Verla Barron

He is survived by his Mom, Mitzi Gilbert of Odessa Dad Stepmom, Jim and Pam Gilbert of Lubbock, TX brother, Dustin Gilbert his fianc, Megan Pharris of Odessa, TX grandmother, Nelda Gilbert of Lubbock, TX the love of his life, Chelsea Hughes and numerous aunts,uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 3:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Coby Colley officiating.
