Trixie Mccarty

Trixie Lynn Rudd McCarty, 75 passed away October 9, 2010 in Odessa, TX.
Trixie was born January 6, 1935 in Nolan County TX to Gladys and Thomas Rudd. She lived in Crane, TX and went to Crane High school. She married W.C. McCarty November 22. She lived several places before finally settling in Odessa, TX. Mr. McCarty passed December of 2003.
Trixie was an avid member of First Baptist Church in Odessa. She was a hard and dedicated worker. She retired earlier this year at age 75 from Area Agency of the aging. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends and helping whomever she could along the way. She loved to play the piano usually when no one was around, she loved tending to her many flowers mostly roses and loving on her animals.
She is preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Survivors include brothers, Eddie Rudd and wife Carolyn and Jack Rudd both of Odessa sons Charles McCarty, Bobby Daniel, Billy Don Daniel and wife Denise, Ricky Ditmore and Gloria, Jesse McCarty and wife Nessa from Oklahoma, OK daughter, Carolyn Daniel from Odessa grandchildren Christa Ruble and husband Curtis, Trixie Smith and husband Justin, Ricky Ditmore, Margaret Frantz and husband Chris, Marrisa McCarty, Anna Daniel, Carlie McCarty, Sarah Foss and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be held Monday, October 11, 2010 from 6:00 8:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, with Curtis Brewer officiating. Graveside services will follow at 4:00 PM at Crane Cemetery.
