Trudy Ann Gingles, 52, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, July 30, 2012.
Trudy was born in Odessa on November 5, 1959 the world became a little brighter that day. She was a graduate of Odessa High Class of 77 and attended Odessa College and UTPB and went on to work at the Western Company and then BJ Services. Trudy was a longtime member of Vine Baptist Church where she worked with the Children and Youth ministries for many years. Although she was never married and an only child, she was known as Aunt Trudy to dozens of children that she helped raise and sometimes spoil. Trudy was a lifetime Girl Scout where she worked and also volunteered. She especially enjoyed Camp Mitre Peak. Trudy was known as a generous, loving and caring person, who loved her Savior and served Him until she became ill.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence and mother, Gladys.
A memorial service will be held at Chapel Hill Baptist Church, 1820 East 52nd Street at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 11.
In Trudys memory, donations may be made to your favorite youth, childrens ministry or the Girl Scouts.
