Vanisha Shavon Lawhon, a devoted wife and loving mother, 29, of Odessa, died Sunday, January 6, 2008, at Midland Memorial Hospital following an auto accident. She was born June 5, 1978, to Bobby and Lisa Digby in Jasper, Alabama. She graduated from Andrews High School in 1997 and Odessa College in 2002. She was attending Southeastern Career Institute of Midland. Vanisha married Rick Lawhon on August 4, 2003, in Midland. BRBRSurvivors include her husband, Rick Lawhon and her daughters, Megan and Lauren of Odessa; her parents, Bobby Digby of Rockland, TX and her mother, Lisa Digby of Corpus Christi, TX. Other survivors include her in-laws, Rodney and Kathy Lawhon of Odessa; her brothers, Greg Cook of Andrews, TX, Robert Digby, Bobby Digby and John Digby, all of Rockland, TX; her sisters, Michelle Anderson of Andrews, and Jesselyn Digby and Madison Digby, both of Rockland, TX. She is also survived by 8 nephews and 4 nieces. BRBRFuneral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2008, at Sunset Memorial Chapel with Chaplin Larry Hood officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. BRBRVisitation is scheduled from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2008.
