Veda Adams

Veda Adams, 87, loving mother, passed away July 8, 2008 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas.

Veda was born February 2, 1921 in Hermleigh, Texas to Fletcher and Bulah Watson. She joined the Women's Army Corps in 1942. Veda married Wade Hampton Adams in Taft, California January 29, 1945 while he was stationed at Taft Air Force Base.

Veda was preceded in death by her parents, brother; Jack G. Hale of Abilene, sister; Lovena Gryder of Lubbock and her husband Wade.

She is survived by her son; Danny Wade Adams and daughter; Judy Yvette Sanford both of Odessa, sisters; Vi Jones and Neta McMillan of Lubbock and Reba Adams of Odessa, numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services with military honors will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Thursday July 10, 2008 at 1:00 P. M with Tony Garcia officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
