Verle Pearce, Sr.

Verle C Pearce, Sr was born on January 3, 1940, in Lakeside, AZ, to his beloved mother, Grace Irene Williams Pearce, and father, Leo Burton Pearce. He married the love of his life, Roma Charlene Turner, on June 10, 1961, in Bloomfield, NM. They moved to Odessa in 1962 to begin his treasured pipeline career. They had four children: Shelly Ann, Verle C, Jr, Tina Louise, and Buddy Allen.

Verle was an honest, hardworking, independent, plain-spoken man who provided for his family at all costs. After years of working with his pipeline family, he opened his own business in 1989, Westside Air Conditioning. He proudly served his customers for 32 years.

Verle was a devoted family man who spent 61 years beside his loving wife, whom he called "Mother". His family would describe him as direct, strong, smart, convicted in his thoughts and beliefs, a man of his word, a Fox News fan, a devoted home-body, extremely loyal to those he cherished, and an expert with colorful language. He was a gruff man of few words but quietly mentored many.

He was preceded in death by his mother Grace, father Burt, sister Shirley, brother Leo, twin brother Merle and daughter-in-law Angela.

Verle is survived by his wife Charlene, daughter Shelly and son-in-law Darrell, son Verle, Jr, daughter Tina and son-in-law Jaroy, and son Buddy and daughter-in-law Jori. Sisters Irene Zufelt and Louise Larue. He was proud of his ten grandchildren: Scott, Nathan, Kayla, Austin, Vanessa, Chase, Roy, Alex, Jayden, and Roma. He also had eight amazing great-grandkids.
