Vernie Kincaid

Vernie Juanita Kincaid, age 91, of Odessa, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Hospice House in Odessa.

She was born June 1, 1921 in Waco, Texas to George Dewy Garrett and Ethel Ardena ONeil Garrett. Vernie was a homemaker and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a pioneer of the Church in Odessa and had many friends.

Survivors include George Richardson of Arkansas, Pansey Blanchard of Odessa, James Kincaid of Odessa, Ethel Sue Meadows of New Mexico. Also surviving her are eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and six greatgreat grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by Charlene Ellard and Charles Mills.

Visitation with the family will be 46 PM Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, May 20, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
