Veta "Francene" Hodges, age 80, of Odessa, TX, passed away on March 20, 2016 in Odessa.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Larry Hood of Lutheran Church of the Risen Lord officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Francene was born on September 7, 1935 to Griffin and Etoyl Roitch in Lampasas, TX. She graduated from Lampasas High School. She married Wade Hodges on May 30, 1952. They owned and operated Doby's BBQ and Thelma's.

Francene is preceded in death by her loving husband, Wade Hodges; brother, Kenneth Roitch; sister, Barbara Luck; parents, Griffin and Etoyl Roitch; grandsons, Marcus Moody and Tyler Hodges.

She is survived by her Daughters, Kathy Moody and her husband John, Vicki Brown and her husband David; son, Mike Hodges and his wife Sally; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

The family requests that donations be made to Hospice or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
