Victor Crumrine, Jr.

Victor Lee Crumrine, Jr. joined his father in heaven on February 10, 2009. He passed from this life at Midland Memorial Hospital due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Lee was born July 12, 1954, in Iola, Kansas to Victor Sr. and Kay Miller Crumrine. He married Sharon Stark on January 4, 1985 in San Angelo, Texas. They then moved to Odessa in October 1988.

Lee joined Duke Conoco Phillips nearly twenty years ago. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed many hunting and fishing trips with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, Uncle Bud, and Aunt Anita.

He is survived by wife Sharon, daughters, Dionne Hernandez and husband Sam of Arlington, Aleasha, Samantha, and Alaina of Odessa; mother, Kay Crumrine of Odessa; brothers Cory and wife Karen of Monahans; Rory and wife Judy of Crane; Barry and wife Lynn of Penwell; and Troy and wife Sherree of Odessa; uncle and aunt Everet and Jimmie Miller of Corpus Christi; aunt Thelma Crumrine of Yates Center, Kansas; five grandsons, Isaac, Baby Sam, Nikkolas Lee, Elijjah Hernandez and Aiden Allen; cousins, Marvin Crumrine of Emporia, Kansas, Alan Markham of Chanute, Kansas, Kevin Willhite of Midland, Colby and Chad Miller of New Braunfels, Michael and Mitchell Cooper of Chanute, Kansas, Carrie Cooper of Chanute, Kansas; Gaye Webb of Odessa, Karissa Willhite of Washington, D.C.Sandy Renneria of Odessa, and Deanna Crumrine of Kansas City; nieces Laura, and Cori, nephews, Rickey, Douglas, Gabriel, Jordan, Colt, Nick, Jacob, and Mason.

The pallbearers will be his nephews Douglas, Jordan, Mason, Colt, Nick, and grandson Isaac.

The family will receive visitors at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, February 14, 2009 from 2:00-4:00 PM and the services will be held on Sunday February 15, 2009 at 2:00 PM at First Church of God with Jerry Patterson officiating. The burial will follow at Rhodes Cemetery in Penwell, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crumrine College fund at Southwest 66 Credit Union, 4041 East 52nd. Street, Odessa, TX 79762.

In honor of our Papa Lee and his love for the outdoors, we would love to invite you to wear camouflage if you would like to.
