Viola Clift

Viola Rimer Clift, 95 of Odessa, beloved Mother, Nanny, and Mammaw, went to be with her Lord Friday October 17, 2008, at Buena Vida Nursing Home in Odessa.

She was born March 18, 1913, to Annie and Lum Rimer in Caddo County, Oklahoma. She married Earl Lee Clift on April 27, 1929, in Anadarko, Oklahoma. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church for 36 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Earl and daughter Willa Jean, parents, nine brothers and sisters.

She is survived by daughters; Mildred Lipham and husband James and Anne Nichols both of Odessa. Grandchildren; Joy Young and husband Roger of Fort Worth, Eddie Lipham and wife Jennifer of Ada, OK., Jay Nichols of Odessa, Kathy Nelson and husband Rory of Odessa. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, the loving staff at Buena Vida, and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, October 20, 2008, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Newton of Cross Roads Fellowship officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
