Violet May Kleck, 75, passed away on March 4, 2010 at Buena Vida Nursing Home in Odessa, Texas. She was surrounded by her loved ones and many special people who cared for her during her stay at Buena Vida.
Violet was born on November 1, 1934, in West Monroe, Louisiana to James and Roberta Anderson. She was raised in Odessa, Texas.
She attended Nursing School at the University of Texas in Galveston where she met her future husband, Dr. Henry J. Kleck. They married in May of 1956 and moved back to Odessa where Violet served the community as an R.N. for many years with a private practitioner and also Medical Center Hospital and Womens and Childrens Hospital.
Violet is survived by her son, Henry Rome Kleck and his wife Kay of Odessa, Texas Daughter, Cynthia Denette and her husband Bobby, of Surprise, Arizona Three grandchildren, Mysti Williamson, Jacob Chapman, and Nikki Martin and six greatgrandchildren.
Family wishes to give special thanks to the staff of Buena Vida Nursing Home for their love and care of Violet.
Visitation with the family will be from 2:004:00 pm Sunday March 7, 2010, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Monday March 8, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jimmy Braswell officiating.
