Virginia Dobbs

Virginia Dobbs, 95, of Odessa, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 26, 2014 with her loving family at her side.

Virginia was born March 23, 1919 to Myrtle and Albert Howell in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She married Harry B. Dobbs on July 20, 1935. They moved to Odessa in 1947. She worked at Casstevens Furniture Store for 17 years. Virginia was a member of Trinity Baptist Church until she moved to Greenwood in the late 1980s.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Gayla Sanford of Houston , Texas, daughter, Linda Brooks of Midland, Texas, son, Jerry Dobbs and wife Maria of Mexico, sister, Maxine Richardson of Odessa, Texas, eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 2, 2014 at 4 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Brother Wes Duckett officiating.
