She entered this world on May 2, 1926 in rural Baca County near Lycan, Colorado, born to Littleton Marion Day and Ula Grace Day. Virginia married Russel Quesenberry on May 29, 1943. She was a member of Crescent Park Baptist Church.
Virginia is preceded in death by her husband: Russel; her parents: Marion and Grace Day; daughter: Marcia Hubbard; grandson: Alex Hubbard; two sisters: Rosaline Julian and Ruth Lilly; two brothers: George Day and Marion Day.
She is survived by a daughter: Brenda Berleth and husband, Tom, of Houston, TX ; son: Rodney Quesenberry and wife, Marjorie,of Odessa, TX ; five grandchildren: Robert Berleth and wife, Nadia, of Lubbock, TX; Jonathan Berleth and wife, Melissa, of Houston, TX; Nicholas Hubbard and wife, Michelle, of Houston, TX; Jamie Chance and husband, Kevin, of Odessa, TX; Sara Brantley and husband, Ryan, of Arlington, TX; nine great grandchildren: Abby and Brooke Berleth; Ava and Finn Hubbard; Craig, Carter, and Katelynn Chance; Emma and Daniel Brantley; two sisters: Genevie Lane of Modesto, California and Elaine Day of Raleigh, North Carolina; two brothers: Jim Day and wife, Pat, of San Jose, California; Bob Day and wife, Shirley, of Modesto, California.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Odessa, TX.
Graveside Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Blake O'Dell officiating.
