Virginia Richey

Virginia Louise Richey left us Monday, January 31, 2022, at MCH Hospital in Odessa, TX.

She was born on July 26, 1927, to William Edwin and Quimba Lula Jordan in Kilgore, TX.  She married her husband, James Floyd Richey on December 24, 1949, in Gladewater, TX.

Virginia had several jobs including Ticket Sales at the Scott Theater, Montgomery Wards in the old Winwood Mall, and Bed & Bath.  She was a member of Crossroads Fellowship of Odessa.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a sister, and her husband.

She is survived by two sons, Jim Richey and his wife Debbie of Hobbs, NM, and Don Richey of Odessa; daughter, Ginger Horrell and her husband Ben of Granbury, TX; five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 5, 2022, also at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Reverend David Newton of Crossroads officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Fellowship.
