W. Crow

W. C. Crow, 85, of Odessa, died Thursday, December 11, 2008 at the Parks Methodist Village.

He was born June 15, 1923 in Berwyn, Oklahoma. He served in the U.S.. Navy from 1943-1946. He married Florine Gilliam July 22, 1944. Flo went to be with the Lord in 1999.

He is survived by daughters, Rita Spriggs and son-in-law, Dennis of Sugar land, Texas, Donna Dunn and son-in-law David of Odessa; grandchildren Jon David Dunn and wife Selena of Odessa, Tim Spriggs of Conroe, Texas, Keri Taylor and husband Jason,of Odessa and Tiffany Whitley of Midlothian, Texas; great grandchildren Jerek, Bailey, Jaylee, Rylee, Kelsey, Justin and Jase; numerous nieces and nephews, who called him Uncle Dub. Having no siblings of his own, he called his in-laws Margaret Vann, Jake Gilliam and Les Gilliam brothers and sister.

He was know to all for his singing, sense of humor, biscuits and gravy and sugar cookies.

Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, December 15, 2008 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
