Wanda Barnes

Wanda Joyce Terry Barnes, 71 of Midland, went to be with the Lord on May 9, 2009 at Hospice of Midland Inpatient of Midland. She was born on January 24th, 1938 in San Saba, Texas to John Elbert Terry and Ruth Edith Brown. She married James Donnie Barnes on April 23, 1955 in Odessa, TX., and is survived by two children; Tina Kay Hight and husband Russell, of Midland, TX., and son Jeffrey Daniel Barnes and wife Donna of North Richland Hills, Tx., one sister Oma Herrera of San Angelo, TX., two foster children, 14 grand children, 36 great grand children and 5 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, four brothers, and three sisters.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at Fairview Cemetery in Midland, Texas with Pastor John Wymore officiating.

Services are entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
