Wanda Jackson

Wanda Varnell (Fleming) Jackson, age 85, of Odessa, TX, went to her heavenly home Wednesday, November 14, 2018.

Wanda was born February 2, 1933 to PK and Elizabeth Fleming in Lynn County, TX.

Wanda and Louis were married September 29, 1949, in Duncan, Oklahoma. After many years working in the office of their business, Permian Inspection, Wanda and Louis enjoyed their retirement by traveling with the airstream group all over the United States.

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, PK and Elizabeth Fleming; three brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Louis Jackson; four daughters, Ann Hoggatt of Amarillo, TX, Judy Thompson and husband, Jack of Odessa, TX, Kathy Walters and husband, Bob of Kerrville, TX, Vickey Turner of Midland, TX; one son, Louis Jackson, Jr. of Comfort, TX; five grandchildren, Sonja Clark, Amy Kay, Julie Stewart, Coby Pool and Nicholas Jackson; six great grandchildren, Dallynn Burney, Channing Burney, Preston Kay, Bryson Kay, Paisley Jackson and William Stewart; brother, Dewayne Fleming and wife, Winnie of Plainview, TX and sister in-law, Margie Fleming of Amarillo, TX.

Funeral Services will be at 3:00 PM, Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clydel Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
